KVD Epic Curl Lash Primer

Say goodbye to your lash curler! No more ripping your lashes out, chopping them off, or smudging the makeup on your eyelid!

I’ve been testing out the new Epic Curl Lash Primer from KVD Vegan Beauty for a few weeks and wanted to share my thoughts.

(This post is not sponsored, I purchased this product with my own money).

To be completely honest, I’ve never used a lash primer.

I thought they were a gimmick product. And why are they always white? Black and white make gray, hello!

I’ve been following the new releases from KVD Vegan Beauty and when they announced the Epic Curl Lash Primer, I was like meh. Surely not for their price point. Every “curling” mascara I’ve tried has done diddly squat for my lashes that always point down no matter what I do.

Then, I saw them posting videos of people using it, and said how you don’t need a lash curler anymore. I was like… no way.

It’s been a struggle since I’ve started doing more photos of my makeup for Instagram, and in real life as well. I look like I just don’t have eyelashes. No amount of curling or waterproof mascara would help the poor things.

So, I decided to pick up a tube while they were having a sale. I had to justify the price tag to myself, I was like okay best case scenario – it works. Worst case scenario – it flops and I can rant about it in a video or blog post.

Well… it definitely works.

I have no idea how, what kind of sorcery they have bottled into this little tube, but they did it.

It actually curls my lashes, no curler needed.

KVD Vegan Beauty blew me away with their Shake Primer, and they’ve done it again with the Epic Curl Lash Primer.

At first, I tried using it how I thought you would use a lash primer – put it on like a first coat of mascara and let it dry.

Nope. I let it dry that first time, and putting on mascara afterwards did not work. So I looked at their website to see if they had suggestions on how to apply it.

Apply it one eye at a time, and apply mascara before the primer dries.

The photo is with one coat of the KVD Epic Curl Lash Primer and a waterproof mascara, but you can layer it up to be fuller.

This is the first thing I’ve ever tried that will curl my lashes and make them stay that way. A lash curler works for about 5 minutes then they’re pointing right back down.

I’m only keeping my lash curler in case I run out of this, it’s just soooo much less hassle and pain.

Let me know if you’ve tried it, or if you’re planning to pick it up!
